OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

\[\sqrt{48}-\sqrt{75}+\sqrt{192}\] first you need to simplify each sqrt.... do this by factoring the number inside the sqrt..

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

eg. \[\sqrt{48}= \sqrt{8\times6} = \sqrt {2^4\times3}=2^2\sqrt3=\large4\sqrt3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

√48 - √75 + √192 = √(3*16) - √(3*25) + √(3*64) = (4-5+8)√3 = 7√3
