Respond in at least TWO SENTENCES to ONE of the following: A. Explain how the conversation which takes place in the ballad "We are Seven" expresses a kind of blurred vision? B. Compare the confusion of the poem's conversation with that of a fictional or real-life dialogue where misunderstanding also exists.

http://onlineschool.cusd.com/calonline/calonlineoldfiles/eng9/module6/6_07.htm A. Here, “blurred vision” refers to the inability to see things clearly or as they really are. I think you could argue that either person - the little girl OR the narrator - has blurred vision. You could say that she doesn't understand that the nature of death: that her dead siblings are gone, no longer with her. OR you could say that he can't see that just because two of her siblings are dead doesn't mean that they are not still a real part of of her life. Just pick one of them .... and make your case there already was a good discussion in OpenStudy on this question .... you will have to scroll down a bit to Question 16, but check it out... http://openstudy.com/study#/updates/4f68a8b6e4b0f81dfbb58554

OpenStudy (paxpolaris):

if you choose to answer\(B.\) ... I can't really help you. You have to pick a story you have read, or an incident in your life .... where a conversation led to misunderstanding and confusion. In the poem the confusion arises over what was a very simple question... the number of siblings in the girls family.
