please help!!

OpenStudy (kainui):

What happens when the derivative of a graph is equal to 0?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i really need the answer first then could u explain to me how to get it??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

???

OpenStudy (anonymous):

helpp!!!!!!!

OpenStudy (kainui):

I can help don't worry. But you have to relax a little bit so I can explain it to you haha. Have you taken calculus at all? I can explain it using calculus or algebra, it's easier with calculus if you've taken it, but if you haven't that's fine too.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no this is for algebra 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i am timed and need the answer please!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

asap please

OpenStudy (kainui):

h(x) is your final height, s is your initial height, and v is your initial velocity. It starts at 0 and ends at 0 height, right? It's in the middle where you have the highest height, so you use the quadratic equation to solve for t, and divide that time by half and plug in that time to find the h(x) at that time for your answer!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so which is the answer?

OpenStudy (kainui):

I didn't do the math, but I told you how to do it.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u please i will do it after

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i cant do it that quick

OpenStudy (anonymous):

please

OpenStudy (kainui):

Sorry, I can't do your work for you. Maybe next time you'll learn it before it's too late.

OpenStudy (anonymous):
