Keeping track of units is not necessary when solving a practical geometry problem

Is this a true or false question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya

If so, then it would be false since you could get your answers mixed up. Imagine trying to find the surface area of Hoover Dam when you must use gallons and Fahrenheit. It is definitely important to keep track of what units you are using because it might not be in terms of what you what (Using Temperature for Length), or it might mess up your calculations. For instance, describing a football field in length as 120 inches when it should be 120 yards.
