Hey guys, can you please help me? So Confused and would love if someone could work out the 2 problems! Find f(x) and g(x) so the function can be expressed as y = f(g(x)). 1. y = 8/x^2 + 4 2. y = 2/x^2+ 3 Thank You So Much!
Honestly this is a weird question.
What sort of topics are you going over now? Can you look back at any practice problems? Are there any example answers you could show us?
I do know f(x) is just a fancy way of writing y...
when calculating the y-int. serves as f(x)
So this is kinda weird. Maybe someone else can help.
well heres one... f(x)=(radical)x+9; g(x)=8x-13 which should come out to 2(radical)2x-1
Maybe I don't understand.. in your 1 and 2 equations that you posted at first, do those have radicals? Or do the "/" slashes represent division?
