How do you know when to use AAS or ASA? I know the definition of both postulates but when it comes to applying it to a diagram of two similar triangles, I don't know which one to use.

OpenStudy (perl):

AAS is the same as ASA

OpenStudy (perl):

well, if ASA is a postulate, then AAS is a corollary (immediately follows from it )

OpenStudy (anonymous):

woahwoah no it's not!

OpenStudy (perl):

its a corollary

OpenStudy (perl):

a triangle adds to 180 degrees, so if you have AAS then it becomes ASA , just try it out
