Can anyone give me an example of a prime trinomial in the form ax2 + bx + c, and explain to me whhy? Because i don't know what prime trinomials are ?

Prime in this case means that the trinomial can't be factored into separate equations. A nonexample would be x^2-4x+3, because this equation can be factored into (x-3)(x-1). Any trinomial that can not be factored as shown above would be prime. So as an arbitrary example: x^2+5x+7 No two factors that would produce 5 in the middle term can be added to produce 7 in the last term.
