find domain of rational function in interval notation g(t)=5t/(t^2-2t)=

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take note that, its a rational function. So, there is a restriction that, the denominator cannot be equal to zero.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because if that happens it will be undefined. Hence, we equate the denominator to zero. then, solve for t. And exclude the values that we got from our domain.

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

right the bottom cant be zero so solve (t^2-2t) = 0 and you get t(t-2)= 0 so t cant be 0 or t cant be 2 so domainn = (-infinity, 0)U(0,2)U(2,infinity) does this make sense?
