really need help :o Write the following equation set equal to zero and in factored form. (x - 2)(x - 3) = 2

Do you have to multiply this out, subtract 2 from both sides and factor it out again?

No, because when multiplied out it gives you x^2-5x+4=0 which doesn't give you anything to work with. Unless you've learned the quadratic equation, in which case you can apply that.

actually yes it does, i figured out that if you multiply it out, subtract 2 and then put it into factored form again, yo0u actually get the right answer
