It's C. Look up the Siege of Grenada in 1492. It was last battle of Reconquesta, or the drive of the Christian Spaniards to reconquer Spain from the Moors. Resulted in the formation of the Kingdom of Spain, the Reino Castillio y Leon. Interesting enough, the same King and Queen who financed Columbus were the same ones who defeated muslim Al-Andalus.

On a weirder note...the Moorish arabs gave the Spaniards plenty of practice with warfare. So the bored Spaniards basically went to America and conquered it.
