?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

first step is ALWAYS to distribute and expand the equation

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

so tell me what you get for expansion

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea yea i kno i do what's in the parenthesis first

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but how do i know if that's 2x minus negative 1 or just 2x minus positive 1?

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

it just says 2x - 1 doesnt it.. if it's 2x minus negative 1 then it will be 2x - (-1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use distributive property

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

2x minus 1 means 2x - 1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks that's all i needed.....i can take it from here

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):
