]Identify the correct x intercept and y intercept of the equation 2x - 3y = -18. x intercept = (9, 0); y intercept = (0, -6) x intercept = (6, 0); y intercept = (0, -9) x intercept = (-9, 0); y intercept = (0, 6) x intercept = (-6, 0); y intercept = (0, 9)

hartnn (hartnn):

to get x -intercept, put y=0 in the equation, and to get y -intercept, put x=0 in the equation.....

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

mmmmmmmmm give me the equation and ill answer it, i dont know what u ment lol

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

@hartnn

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Put your equation in y=mx+b form to find your y intercept. Then you can plug that number in for y in the original equation to find the x intercept

hartnn (hartnn):

2x-3y=-18 if i want y-intercept, i will put x=0 so -3y=-18 so y=6 got this?can u do the same for x-intercept??

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

would it be 2x = -18?? x = -9

hartnn (hartnn):

correct :)

hartnn (hartnn):

so tell me which option would it be?

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

soo..... the answer is??? C?

hartnn (hartnn):

yes it is....

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

Thank you soo much!!
