OpenStudy (rainbow_dash):

LCM of x^2 - 2x, x^2 - 4

OpenStudy (rainbow_dash):

do i factor these and then find the product of the two??

OpenStudy (valpey):

Not quite. You need a multiple of the two, so the product is one possible solution, but you want the Least Common Multiple, so you don't need to multiply common factors. For example the LCM of a*b*c and b*c*d is a*b*c*d.
