Factor by grouping, i forgot the method.., 2x^6+9x^5-6x-27

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^5(2x+9)+... ring any bells?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

uhhh not really, im even confused on what you did there..

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

basically you start by splitting the problem into 2 smaller expressions to be factored separately --> 2x^6 +9x^5 and --> -6x-27

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

@completeidiot factored the 1st expression for you

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

go ahead and factor the 2nd expression...what do you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-3(2x+9) and i got it now..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks

OpenStudy (dumbcow):

glad to help :)
