no exit by jean-paul sartre the general theme? specific literary devices used to convey the theme of the work. || okay, so i cant explain how much help i need on this. You dont understand how much you could save my life answering these questions.. so please? ||
Well you read the book so you are going to have to identify literary devices such as personification, onomatopoeia, blah blah blah check that websites. http://literary-devices.com/ first you have to find the theme. to find a theme just do a theme that you found while reading? like what is the theme you found in the story. like not everything in life is perfect, pick your friends closely. I have not read this so i am just saying those themes. Once you find the theme find places in the book where it shows the theme. analyze the writing. how is he writing, does he rhyme, what does he do that makes the theme stand out. make sure you don't use "you" or "your" in your writing because it is not 2nd point of view.
idk if it helps. but i hope it can get you started.
i did not read the book..
Well whose fault is that? I'm not gonna lie i've done summer reading assignments like this that require analyzing without reading the book. but for that you've got to be smart and usually you wouldn't be asking for help because it is something one can do alone. I know how to do it because i really can't explain it but i am just so used to it, i can just naturally do work at the last minute. But never do that or you will always be running out of time when you could be doing other things. so my advice to you is to look at online reviews, skim through the book, just whatever you can do to get some insight on the book. but since it asks for literary devices you need to analyze the actual text so you can show how you found a literary device. it looks like its a play i just looked it up, and right now we're doing an analysis on a play too. So yeah just do what you can.
ive actually been working all day on other questions. And yes im doing this last minute, your advice is very helpful, thank you. these are actually the last 2 questions that im having a difficult time on for some reason.
Yeah well if its just a response and not a full essay on this then start out with a sentence that goes along with the theme. then state the play and who is affected by the theme. then you can state the theme directly. and get into how you found the theme through literary devices. i would use quotes like "xxxxxx" (sartre Page#). to have textual support in your response for your literary devices.
i cant use quotes, its just a straight out responce maybe like a sentence or two.
like, general theme: "...." because "....."
are you sure because we had to do responses 50 - 100 words where we had a whole bunch of questions from the book. if it is 2 sentences then just state the general theme and how it played into the play. then obviously the literary devices.
absolutley posotive
ok then it should be easy. cause all you have to do is state the theme and the literary devices that is it. no explaining it. i would've been done. you can maybe look up themes since you haven't read it. but then you would have to find literary devices and that is all.
no youhave to explain it, but within a sentence or two. And honestly the literary devices ; i tried looking it up, and i cant find any specific to " no exit ".
that's what i have told you. the literary devices is something you will have to find on your own from the text. but you can find a theme online. i would think it would be easier to find theme on my own because when you find it that is where you look for literary devices.
brb and can i see u without anything?
