Parth (parthkohli):

\[1) \quad 6s^2\\2)\quad\text{edge}^3 \]

so thats the answer?

Parth (parthkohli):

\[a) \quad 6( 4x - 5)^2 \\ b) \quad (4 x - 5)^3\]Simplify

help

Parth (parthkohli):

You use the distributive property

mathslover (mathslover):

two properties used: \[\large{(a\pm b)^2=a^2\pm 2ab+b^2}\] \[\large{\color{red}{a(b \pm c)=ab \pm ac}}\]

Parth (parthkohli):

That comes down to just one property.\[a(b\pm c) = ab\pm ac\]

right derivation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

take the cubed root, square that and then multiply by 6. In this case the answer is 294 yards sq. Edit: LOL. I got a thumbs down! I must have pissed off the first guy for giving him thumbs down for providing a wrong answer. A cube has equal height, length and width. 7*7*7=343. Since the surface area is length * width * the number of sides, in this case the SA is 7*7*6=294.
