is it something related to inequality

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then when there is less than or equal to or greater than or equal to sign then its disjunction (it is either or) but when there is only greater than sign or only less than sign without inequality it is conjunction(conjunction means AND )

hartnn (hartnn):

or,try this: DISjunction is when the equations on a number line do not connect. (Think... "dis" is "not".) E.g., x<4, x>6. CONjunction is when the equations on a number line DO connect. E.g., x>4, x>6.

hartnn (hartnn):

what @matricked said can also be put as Disjunction means "OR" Conjuction means "AND" So with a disjunction the solution is this OR that. With conjunction the solution is this AND that.
