I heed help with this one n=gx/g+x the solution is x=??

OpenStudy (amistre64):

multiply the bottom out, distribute the n, gather your xs to one side and the rest to the other, undistribute the xs, and divide off the excess

OpenStudy (amistre64):

im assuming that a denominator of (g+x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think I got n/g-x but that don't seem right

OpenStudy (amistre64):

n=gx/(g+x) multiply the bottom out n(g+x)=gx distribute the n, ng+nx=gx gather your xs to one side and the rest to the other, ng=gx - nx undistribute the xs, ng=(g-n)x and divide off the excess ng/(g-n) = x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

wow I don't like these thanks a bunch

OpenStudy (amistre64):

it just takes practice, but its something youll have to get down pat if you want to get better at the maths

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have to leave the (g-n) like so

OpenStudy (amistre64):

i dont see a need to try to undo it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

One other question if the n is capitalized I leave it capitalized? Or else it would be wrong.
