\[R(r _{1}+r _{2}) = r _{1}r _{2} \] Solve for R << Could someone help me with this please??

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

Simply divide both sides by \[\Large r _{1}+r _{2}\] to isolate R

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

\[\Large R(r _{1}+r _{2}) = r _{1}r _{2} \] \[\Large R = \frac{r _{1}r _{2}}{r _{1}+r _{2}} \]

@jim_thompson5910 Thank you sooooo much!! You're the best!!
