hi all, I am a grad. maths student (mainly studying stochastic and algorithms), I have studied physics at high school level (A-levels) after that I have never studied physics but I still know what I studied (which is very basic), now I am interested in Quantum Mechanics as a hobby, can someone please tell me that how should I start?

You'd need a very sound footing in Linear Algebra (matrices) and advanced calculus. You will find that whatever physics already you know (presumably classical) is far from agreeable with QM, the ideas of which are fantastically cohesive and heavily dependent on the math involved. You would need more than just an introduction to relativity and some very fundamental and enjoyable theories of modern physics of the last century. Considering your background in Math, you'll find QM a worthy exploration, so tread on striped one.
