If a system accelerates... Does that mean the total force increases? m is the same but a increased from its starting point. That "algebraically" would mean the total force of the system "F" increased right?

yeah sure ... da/dt = k, a = kt + c => ma = mkt+mc -> the force is increasing linearly as time inccreases ... if you have da/dt = constant

you have constant acceleration ... you have constant force ...just picture the nozzle of rocket in space
