when rotation about a single bond is not restricted ,then how are enantiomers not identicle?.........my teachers couldnt answer it.......................can some one help.............................

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Why does it need to be restricted? Here's a molecule with only single bonds that has an enantiomer: |dw:1346454245585:dw|

OpenStudy (anonymous):

At ordinary temperatures there's free rotation around every one of the bonds in that molecule. But it's still chiral.

thats wat i am asking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!then its mirror image is supposed to be identical?
