Laplace transform explanation (NO formulas) EXPLANATION ! A It turns out every not-growing-too-fast function on positive half line is actually a sum of decreasing exponential functions. Diffrent function have different rates of decrese B The WEIGHT of each single exponential in the REPRESENTED function is the corresopnding coefficient

What's so useful about it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is useful because if your function is a sum of exponentials then it is very simple to derivate and to integrate it, thus solving linear differential equation easily.
