OpenStudy (anonymous):

use the arc length formula and the given information to find the indicated quantity. r=14in, θ=11rad, find s

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you know the arc length formula? It's the same as the formula for the circumference of a circle, except it works on segments of circles and not just a full one.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think s=r*θ

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

are you sure theta = 11 radians.... as that would be more that a full circle.

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

anything's possible

OpenStudy (lgbasallote):

math is just numbers after all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

11 radians is fine, that's just more than once around the track.
