Limits by Direct Substitution find the limit... lim cos(x) x----> pie/6 HELP ANYONE?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you just have to find cos(pi/6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since you can substitute it without any problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you can do it using your calculator or if you remember what is cos(pi/6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeahhhh . but how do I find cos?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

pi/6 is a pretty typical angle that you will see. Lookup: Unit Circle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

30 degrees

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is what pi/6 IS. However, there is a value of sine (vertical or "y" part) and a value of cosine (horizontal, or "x" part) at that angle.
