In notation, what does a square to the above right of a letter mean?
\[e^{\vec{}} \]Vector.
No... scalar or vector?
Weird. Does anyone know what it means in linear algebra? A matrix?
give a link/reference i think i know
ya nt getting u crctly
I think it is a vector, but on some browsers the TeX looks messed up (on mine for example)
@henpen from which book or place does it come? context?
\vec works, so it's a vector.
The only thing I know this is because I saw somebody's LaTeX, and it was \vec.
I think it was in TuringtTest's answer to a Linear Algebra question.
if you can select it with right-click try math setting-> math renderer -> SVG that is the only way I can see the proper symbol on my browser, otherwise I see the square you referred to
I saw it in @lgbasallote's question.
Evidently I didn't get it at the time, as I still don't know what that silly square is.
OK, so it's nothing new or too important. Thanks.
To tell u the truth it was only curious because it does have a meaning way more advanced for this kind of forum
seeing that it's in linear algebra though, I think it is a vector
I'm betting before me Parth :)
LOL, no... not in a lifetime!
