how do i find the solution to angle lines

OpenStudy (phi):

post a specific question

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Two lines intersect to form two pairs of vertical angles

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@vero18191 it depends on the type of the equation, do u have one?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

my question is: what is an "angle line"?

OpenStudy (phi):

in that case, yowzer answered. notice that a straight line is 180 degrees in your picture a+146 = 180 (together the two angles add up to 180) notice that 146+c= 180 (also a straight line) so a=c a and c are vertical angles. you can see what the unlabeled angle is?

OpenStudy (phi):

to find a using a+146=180 subtract 146 from both sides of the equation, like this a+146-146= 180-146 simplify: on the left 146-146 is 0 and a+0 is a on the right 180-146= you figure it out
