You are riding a bicycle into a strong head wind, but manage to keep moving in a straight line at a constant speed. The net force on you is in what direction?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If you are moving in a straight line at constant speed, then the force of friction acting on you is less than the force with which you are moving. Hence, the net force will be in the direction you are moving.

That is awesome, thank you. I understand it a little better but still have some more questions.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

My pleasure :) I'll try to answer those too.

Driving down the road, you hit an insect. How does the force your car exerts on the insect compare to the force the insect exerts on the car?
