A simple formula for the distance traveled (x in meters) by an car traveling uses the initial starting point (Xo in meters), the initial velocity (vo in units meters per second) and the acceleration (a in unit meters per second squared) and the time traveled (t). What is a rough formular for x in terms of these variables?

OpenStudy (amistre64):

hmmm, i believe a suitable equation can be\[a=\frac{2\Delta x}{t^2}\]

OpenStudy (amistre64):

im assuming a constant acceleration of course

Thank you! Yes,we are assuming a constant acceleration. I'll see if this works.
