yes exactly, when the argument (the bit inside) is less or equal to zero (in fact it is defined for negative numbers, but it doesn't take real values; if you're interested then read about complex numbers) so we should look at when |-4x-46| =< 0 then shouldn't we? what do you think?

yes so if i plug in -46/4 it would result in 0; undefined in ln. right?

so since we're working with absolute values negative numbers would exist also. right?
