OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

Which of the following is NOT a way to represent the solution of the inequality 5(x + 2) >/= 7x + 2(x - 1)? A number line with a closed circle on 3 and shading to the right. A number line with a closed circle on 3 and shading to the left. 3 >/= x x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i guess we have to solve it first

OpenStudy (andriod09):

inequalities are easy at least. :) (if you know how to do 'em.)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we don't really need to solve because \(x\leq 3\) and \(3\geq x\) both say that x is less than or equal to three

OpenStudy (anonymous):

since "less than 3" means numbers to the left, the first one is wrong

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

so it is the first one because it says which one is NOT

OpenStudy (andriod09):

yes

OpenStudy (gabylovesyou):

Thnk you :)
