Is electromagnetic torque also something found inside every circuit through which current is traveling? Because when i searched for electromagnetic torque i found "It is Torque developed inside an electric motor. " So is a circuit an electric motor? Please give me sources to use to write an essay about electromagnetic torque

Negative. An electric motor is a special device that is designed to convert electrical energy into mechanical energy. Hints the term electromagnetic torque (electromagnetic describes how the motor works, through the interaction of current carrying wires and magnetic fields as defined by Faraday's Law, and torque describes the mechanical nature of the energy output by the motor). Electric motors are part of larger electrical circuits. However, a simple electric circuit on a breadboard is not an electric motor. You could argue that an electric motor is a specialized type of electric circuit, in and of itself.

However, what about just the word 'torque' with respect to any circuit- does that apply? Does torque exist in any circuit though, and how is it born

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Torque doesn't exist inherently in electrical circuits. Torque, strictly speaking, refers to mechanical systems. It is any force that causes rotation of a body.

Yet, among other things it occurs in all circuits with a current and its magnitude is related to current?
