I'm not sure how to solve this one. PLEASE HELP! Solve for side lengths c and d. I'm working with sines and cosines and I really don't understand this one. (diagram in comments)

Assume all angles involved here are degrees. Firstly let's find c. By definition, tan() = opp/adj. So in this case, tan71 = c/12. Solve it and get c. After you find c, we can move on to find d. The function I use is cos(), but you can use sin() if you like, given that you have found out c. By definition, cos() = adj/hyp. So in this case, cos71 = 12/d. Solve and get answer.

Thank you so much! I get it now :D
