7x+4/2+1=-6x/7

OpenStudy (agent47):

can you give me the correct equation> with the parenthesis etc..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7x+4 ----- + 1= -6 2 --- 7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[\frac{ 7x+4 }{ 2 } + 1 =\frac{ -6 }{ 7 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i forgot to write -6x/7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

For this, you have to get the lowest common denominator which in this case is 14. So you multiply 7x+4/2 by 7, you multiply the 1 by 14 and you multiply the -6x/7 by 2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

New Equation:\[\frac{ 49x+28 }{ 14 }+\frac{ 14 }{ 14 } = \frac{ -12x }{ 14 }\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

From here you can remove the fractions so the new equation is: 49x+28 +14 = -12x Solve for x from here.

aww thank u so muchh!!
