Sometimes it helps to add parentheses around each operator based on the order of operation. e.g. \[(3^2) + ( (7-2)*4) - (6/3)\] and then rememeber to always calculate the inside of the parentheses first, and in case of parentheses inside a parentheses, you must calculate the inner first. (9) + (5*4) - (2) But of course, you still need to know the order of operation.
