Physics takes some imagination. You should always help your imagination out by drawing a picture, but this one is easier than you think. (here's a hint: the perimeter of the field is irrelevant)

Yep. If you got exactly twice around something that's the same as going exactly once around - you'll end up in the exact same place you started from.
