OpenStudy (anonymous):

somebody please?

OpenStudy (precal):

in geometry congruence means the same thing|dw:1347491032006:dw| don't know if I know any shortcuts

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i mean like explain SSS and SAS please (:

OpenStudy (precal):

post and example or a specific question geometry tends to be precise which means you have to know your definitions and theorems

OpenStudy (precal):

SSS is side side side SAS is side angle side

OpenStudy (precal):

|dw:1347491133681:dw| has to look like this

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well you have to know conjectures. I learned a lot of them for Triangles. Also did Kites, trapezoids, etc.. CPCTC - Corresponding Parts of Congruent Triangles are Congruent. so if you can prove three sides equal the whole triangle is congruent. then there is S = side A = angle and they are conjectures likes AAS, SSS, ASA,, the only ones the don't work is retriceand AAA. Our teacher taught us to remember that by "Butts" and "Batteries" this little slides show is really helpful. http://www.slideshare.net/acavis/congruence-shortcuts-notes Have you started doing the two-column proofs to prove a figure congruent?

OpenStudy (precal):

Angle must be in between those two sides|dw:1347491174116:dw| see the difference
