Like akash123 said initially, any number multiplied by 0 is 0 (no matter how large - including infinitely large numbers) HOWEVER what is likely meant by 0 * infinity in your Calculus course is a value that APPROACHES 0 times one that approaches infinity so it's 9999999999999... * 0.00000000000...1 therefore it's an indeterminate form since we cannot easily determine what the product will be since each factor is "fighting" the other one. For more information, you'd have to give us a specific problem.
