as a matter of fact there are more real numbers between 0 and 1 than there are integers.

depends on what you mean by decimals if you mean repeating or terminating decimals, then those are rational numbers and they are countable as well. decimals are a way of representing real numbers, but most real number are not rational, so their decimal representation will be non repeating non terminating

So is it impossible to construct a 'backwards' irrational number, that is irrational up, rather than down?
