OpenStudy (sherrie0769):

integrate by partial fractions 2x/(x^2-4x+5)dx please show steps

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

opinion ?

jhonyy9 (jhonyy9):

how you will begin it ?

OpenStudy (sherrie0769):

i think by completing the square on the bottom since its not factorable

OpenStudy (sherrie0769):

making it (x^2-4x+4)-4+5 then (x-2)^2+1

OpenStudy (turingtest):

you really have to use partial fractions here? I don't see a way...

OpenStudy (turingtest):

we could do this with a trig sub and a few tricks, but PF I just don't see a way
