OpenStudy (tabithax3):

How do you graph y=cot(x+π/4)?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You would shift the entire graph of y=cot(x+π/4) to the left by π/4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so the new asymptotes are at -9π/4, -3π/4, -π/4, π/4 and 3π/4 and so on depending on your domain

OpenStudy (tabithax3):

i got the period=π and phase shift=-π/4 as how my book says to do and the one complete period is (π/4, 5π/4) i just don't know how the graph is supposed to look like

Here is a graph: http://i.minus.com/iRECCZgnomJep.gif
