@idontknow B. Sometimes is the answer I would select because it is not stated that the equations are distinct. So, if you have a system of two equations such as {y = 3x + 4 ; 2y = 6x + 8}. the two equations have the same slope but intersect in infinitely many points because the two lines are identical and intersect in every point.
