What is the slope of the line represented by the equation y = 7?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7b?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = mx + b m = slope There is no m-value...so what is you're slop?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

*slope

OpenStudy (anonymous):

7

OpenStudy (anonymous):

0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh alright.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

y = means this is a horizontal line. Horizontal lines have no slope.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aright. so the slope is 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jazy its not that horizontal lines have no slope its just because slope=tan(theta) here theta=0 thats why its zero
