How do i rearrange (a+b/c)(d-e) to isolate a.?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not clear. is this \[\frac{a+b}{c}=d-e\]? there is no equal sign in your expression

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(a+b/c)(d-e)=f

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok still not exactly clear is it \[(a+\frac{b}{c})(d-e)=f\]or \[\frac{a+b}{c}(d-e)=f\]? i suspect the second, but am not sure

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the first one ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok then step one is to divide both sides by \(d-e\) to get \[a+\frac{b}{c}=\frac{f}{d-e}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

step 2 would be to subtract \(\frac{b}{c}\) from both sides to get \[a=\frac{f}{d-e}-\frac{b}{c}\]

Thanks Alot
