.

hartnn (hartnn):

can u identify in which quadrant (3,-85) will lie ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it is false..right?

hartnn (hartnn):

yup, because its in 1st quadrant and (3,-85) should lie in 4th quadrant.

The following is the graph of point (-3, pi/6) this is true? http://i729.photobucket.com/albums/ww292/akatushi101/3pi66.gif

hartnn (hartnn):

that point is very far from origin, not definitely 3, so false.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But its polar cordinates we are talking about I think its ryt..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

coordinates*

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah this is polar coordinates

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah its true then. Cause the 3 stands for the length of the hypotenuse if u draw a triangle with perpendicular side on the y axis and the base on x axis. I hope u get what I mean.

The following is the graph of point (-9, 300ยบ). it is true ? http://i729.photobucket.com/albums/ww292/akatushi101/300000.gif

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahahahha hell no!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

excuse me?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

300 degrees doesn't lie on the second quad. Its given there that the upper quadrant lies between 0 to 180. if it had been 300 it would lie somewhere down below the 0. Get it??

hartnn (hartnn):

(-9,300) = (9,120) so true. sorry for late reply.
