OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is it \[-2/(3x) + 5/6 =2 or (-2/3)x +5/6 =2 ?\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@yoyosing123 you should using equation in math... so the question is clear

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so which one the right question?

@suryagsr32

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i came up with -(7/4)=X

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[-2/3x +5/6 =2 \] \[\left( \frac{ -2 }{3x} \right) +\frac{ 5 }{ 6 } = 2 \] \[\left( \frac{ -12+15x }{ 18x } \right)=2\] \[-12+15x=36x\] \[21x=-12\] \[x= \frac{ -12 }{ 21 }\] \[x=\frac{ -4 }{ 7 }\]
