Need help with question 4!! Is it -4, 4, and 8?
The question requests the continuous intervals, so you could just look for runs of curve that's connected and then figure out the end points. The first of these intervals are [-4, 2) (-2, 2) See if you can do the rest.
[4, 6) (6, 8] is it right?
They are almost right, only the end points are wrong. You can see that at x=4 we have a singularity (which means it blows up to infinity), so the function is not defined there. That means x=4 it can't be included in any interval, so instead of [4, 6) it's (4, 6). For (6, 8] it looks like there is an un-filled circle at x=8, which means that it's not in the interval either so it should be (6, 8). You also missed an interval at [2, 4). Hope this helps!
kool, got it now. Thanks :)
