Understanding people as biopsychosocial systems means: biological factors have the most influence on people, followed by psychological factors and finally social factors. the nervous system is equal parts biological, psychological, and sociological. to understand people, we must study how biological, psychological, and social-cultural systems work and interact. the nervous system is a less important understanding of people that was believed a decade ago. psychology is the central component in the understanding of human behavior.
The third choice is the one that makes to most sense to me here. I'm using a process of elimination here. The 1st choice doesn't make much sense, because the biopsychosocial model says that biological, psychological, and sociological factors all play a significant role in human functioning (specifically, illness and disease). The 2nd choice doesn't make sense, because the the biopsychosocial model doesn't only apply to the nervous system. The 4th choice doesn't make sense, because understanding the nervous system is still preeeetty important in understanding people. And the 5th choice doesn't sound like the right choice, because the biopsychosocial model doesn't only incorporate psychology.
