are phospholipids polarized molecules?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

we can start with definitions :) then we can take a look at the structure of phospholipids

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay then phospholipids are any group of fatty compounds, as lecithin, composed of phosphoric esters, and occurring in living cells.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it's not is it? is it non polarized?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

define polarized molecules

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A polarized molecule is molecule who's electrons can easily move within it's atomic levels. Large molecules in which the electrons are far from the nucleus are relatively easy to polarize and therfore poses greater dispersion forces.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now let us take a look at the characteristics of phospholipids

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hey i have to go to sleep so I'll just get help from my teacher tommarow thanks for trying to help tho goodnight

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the head of the phospholipid is the key
