Scientists review the work of other scientists to ensure the results are in agreement with accepted scientific beliefs guarantee federal funding by supporting each other's work keep the science community better informed validate the results and check the evidence's reliability
What do you think?
idk
I'm sure you can eliminate at least a few of the answers...
mmmmm
B;)
B is unlikely. Scientists are very competitive, and federal funding is pretty hard to guarantee anyway! If one of your friends were to ask you to check over an essay or homework assignment, what would you be doing?
tbh yeah i would
i tink it A
Science would never move forward if scientists just checked each other's work to make sure it fit with old theories.
so wats the answer lol
Only one of the answers given actually makes sense...
C?
They don't need to do any peer review work to stay informed.
so its D
u have me guessing lol
?
You need to understand the question, not guess. Peer review is a HUGE and essential part of science, and it's basically the only technique we have to make sure that the studies that get published are done properly and are likely to have yielded valid results.
ohkkayy :)
Come on... have you never heard/read about what scientists actually do? There are always lots of science stories in the media.
honeslty idk no nothing about science
Science is basically a process that people can use to learn more about the world. Since it's important to get valid information (a badly-done experiment can give you results that aren't true), scientists check each other's work in a process called peer review. They look over the results and try to repeat the experiment. If we didn't have this process, any scientist could just say anything and nobody would know if it was true or not.
